Alicia Viebrock was first Artist in Residence in our ArtWorld. What's the story behind it?

In 2022, we discovered Alicia at the Kandlhofer Gallery in Vienna. Since Herbert Brandl also expressed his highest appreciation for his master student, we purchased a large work and sought personal contact. We were not only rewarded with an outstanding artist, but also met a very special, lovely person.

When Alicia was finally looking for a studio to paint very large canvases for her exhibition at Bärbel Grässlin Gallery in Frankfurt, we made the neighbouring loft that had just become vacant available to her for interim use in spring 2024 before it became our Collectorsspace.

Alexander Eckhart created a wonderful Film. about her work at the loft and the exhibition in Germany. It also provides an insight into her working methods. An exhibition by Alicia at our Artspace in autumn 2024 rounded off the story - the relationship remains.
